Happily resting beside a little babbling brook shaded by trees, at the  Sugar Tree Cottage you will encounter enchanting tea tastings, delightful classes & workshops, local art, and space to relax.

The cottage is accessed on foot by it's own bridge (please inquire about wheelchair access, available upon request) and located near the beautiful historic Lakewood Theater.

We are currently open by invitation or appointment only.

Announcements of our "Tea Tasting Tuesdays" and other events; including featured artists showings, poetry readings, in-season seedling shares & more, will be found on the Sugar Tree Cottage facebook group    Please also visit the On Olive Street blog to read about the OOS project

Our original "Sugar Tree" was a traveling vegetarian food cafe, with simple meals inspired by the fresh herbs grown for teas at  Mothers Moon + homegrown berries & apples, and veggies from the farm we had assembled for our Kids' Gardening/Kids' Kitchen programs.

After a while we parked our converted little camper, but remained a wandering art gallery & fresh market. Contining to offer locally sourced foods; hand blended teas, natural fiber arts, and our own hand crafted wooden bread boards, spoons & rolling pins; along with a small selection of cooking & gardening books at local events.

More recently though, we've settled down quite a bit, with less traveling or wandering, and paring back on our offerings. We are spending much more time at what is now the Sugar Tree Cottage, and creating new adventures to share with our On Olive Street project.
