Happily resting beside a pleasant little babbling brook, the  Sugar Tree Cottage  offers enchanting tea tastings, delightful classes & workshops, and charming personal private shopping experiences.

The cottage is accessed on foot by it's own bridge* and located near the beautiful historic Lakewood Theater.

We are currently open by invitation or appointment only.  Future anouncements of our "Tea Tasting Tuesdays" and other events; including featured artists showings, poetry readings, seedling shares & more, can be found on the Sugar Tree Cottage facebook group

...

A note on origins & rebranding:  Our original "Sugar Tree" was a traveling vegetarian food cafe, assembled from fresh herbs grown for teas at  Mothers Moon + homegrown berries & apples, as well as veggies from the farm for our Kids' Gardening/Kids' Kitchen programs + hand crafted wooden bread boards, spoons & rolling pins.

After a while we parked our converted little camper, but the rest remained as we became more of a wandering art gallery & fresh market. We continued offering locally sourced foods; hand blended teas, natural fiber arts, and our Maine Artisan wooden products; along with a small selection of cooking & gardening books at local events.

Most recently we've settled down quite a bit, with less traveling or wandering, and spending much more time at what is now the Sugar Tree Cottage, creating new adventures to share "On Olive Street".
